Ouch! Parineeti Chopra Upset As Her Worst Nightmare Comes True
Parineeti Chopra was all set to promote her upcoming film, Meri Pyaari Bindu when tragedy struck. The actress took to social media to share the news with fans
We are swooning over Parineeti Chopra’s debut playback number, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin, ever since the makers dropped the track. The actress’s husky voice makes the melodious song stand apart in the crowd.
However, hours before Parineeti was to address journalists she woke up with a sore throat and could barely speak. Co-incidentally, the actress also has the HT Mumbai Meri Hai & Meri Pyaari Bindu concert lined up for tomorrow, for which it’s imperative she gets her voice back. Thus, Parineeti has decided to rest it out today.
The actress took to social media to apologise to fans and journalists about not being able to give interviews.
We wish you a speedy recovery Pari. Get well soon.
Coming to Meri Pyaari Bindu, soon after the song’s release, a few netizens accused Parineeti of auto-tuning it, but instead of getting into a heated argument with ‘haters’ she responded by giving proof.
The actress took to Instagram and posted a video of her singing in the recording studio. She captioned the clip as, “And this is how it happened!!!! Blessed. Also -my answer to all the auto tune questions ... NO AUTO TUNE!! #BehindTheScenes#MaanaKeHumYaarNahin#MeriPyaariBindu”
In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com, Parineeti had spoken about not taking technical help for the song. She said, “We recorded the song in 2 hrs flat at YRF Studios some time ago. Sachin-Jigar and I were clear that my voice would not be auto-tuned. I didn’t want any sort of technical help.”
Meanwhile, last evening, the makers of the film released the making of Maana... and you can’t miss it.
Meri Pyaari Bindu is slated to release on May 12.
